Our guests’ health and safety are our first priority here at Blueys Motel. With the global pandemic of Covid-19 among us, we have taken the following steps to ensure that the motel is a safe place for you during your stay. Whilst we have actively changed our processes, we appreciate your participation in ensuring a safe environment. Above all, we hope that you have a safe and wonderful stay with us at Blueys Motel.
Blueys Motel management will take all reasonable steps to ensure that a person does not enter accommodation if they are unwell and/or do not pass the health screening steps sent to them upon booking. If there are concerns regarding the clinical deterioration of a guest whilst staying at Blueys Motel, management will follow current processes using existing linking with local health services or call the National Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080.
Blueys Motel management will notify SafeWork NSW of a case of COVID-19 arising out of the conduct of the business or undertaking, that requires the person to have immediate treatment as an in-patient in a hospital, and any confirmed infection to which the carrying out of work is a significant contributing factor. Notification is made by calling SafeWork NSW on 13 10 50. Notifications must be made regardless of whether NSW Health is already aware of the case.
Blueys Motel management may revise and update this plan if new advice and recommendations are made in order to prevent the spread of illness.
Signage will be placed at reception with relevant information and procedures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Everyone entering reception will be expected to sanitise their hands with the sanitiser provided.
Our cancellation policy is that the full amount will be charged should you cancel within 28 days of your arrival date. However, we do not expect anyone showing symptoms of Covid-19 to travel to the region. We would therefore allow anyone with sickness to reschedule their booking subject to medical documentation.
We have adopted an online check in system to minimise the contact that we have with guests. We request all guests to fill in the information prior to arrival. Upon arrival guests are asked to proceed to reception to collect the room key. Should you want to check in after-hours, please call to receive alternative instructions.
In everyday cleaning, we will be using the highest classification of disinfectants recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization to treat known pathogens.
To avoid excessive interaction during your stay, we will only service rooms if guests request it to be done so. Requests can be made by putting out the sign on the door between the hours of 9:00am– 11:30am.
We request that all guests abide by the 4sqm rule and observe social distancing when using common area. Should you feel that this is not being obeyed, please inform us at reception so we can take appropriate action.
Should you have any concerns on any of the above matters during your stay, please do not hesitate to let us know.
We look forward to welcoming you to the motel.
