The Best Beaches in Pacific Palms Are…

The Pacific Palms region is arguably one of the best coastal holiday destinations in NSW. With eight beaches in the region itself and sixteen more in the surrounding areas, Pacific Palms is a major hotspot for beach lovers.

Today, I’ll take this opportunity to list some of the best beaches in Pacific Palms. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beachside holiday or a fun-filled surfing trip, these beaches are a perfect choice!

Elizabeth Beach

Elizabeth Beach is located on Lakeside Crescent. When the swell is running in the right direction, Elizabeth Beach is a hot little surf spot in the Pacific Palms region. It is north facing with a smaller swell and is one of the only patrolled beaches in the region. It offers easy access and has plenty of parking. Elizabeth Beach is also a great spot for diving and snorkelling due to the rock formation along the edge that takes you around to Shelly Beach.

Should you choose to stay with us at Blueys Motel, you’ll put yourself just 3km from Elizabeth Beach.

Shelly Beach

Located just south of Elizabeth Beach, is Shelly Beach – a lovely beach that can be accessed by a scenic coastal trail over the hill. It is a stunning west facing beach, a safe haven protected from the southerly winds. Shelly is unpatrolled beach and is well known as a beach in the Pacific Palms region because it is very private.

Blueys Motel is located just 3km from Shelly Beach. By choosing to stay with us, you’ll face no problems getting to this lovely beach.

Boomerang Beach

Boomerang Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the Pacific Palms region and is located just 900m north of Blueys Motel. Known for its great surfing breaks at both ends, this east facing beach is often subject to large swells. Apart from surfing, Boomerang Beach is also a fantastic place to relax, unwind and enjoy the surroundings simply.

By staying at our motel accommodation, you’ll just be a short walk away from this great beach.

Blueys Beach

Blueys Beach may be a small beach, but it is one of the most stunning beaches in the Pacific Palms region and it is just a short 200m stroll from our motel. Blueys, as we locals refer to it, is set against the backdrop of lush vegetation and features a scenic hilltop lookout point. It is great for surfing, and it can be accessed by a short walk down a few stairs.

By staying at Blueys Motel, you’ll put yourself in Blueys Beach, walking distance from the beach, cafes, eateries, and shops.

Sandbar Beach

Another spectacular beach in the Pacific Palms area is Sandbar Beach, known to surfers and fisherman as Cellitos. The beach picks up any east and southeast waves, with northeast winds blowing offshore at the north end. Sandbar beach can be accessed by 4WD, boat, kayak, canoe or you can park at the northern end and take a walk along the boardwalk through the rainforest which leads to the northern end Cellito Beach.

Blueys Motel is located 9km from Sandbar Beach. Many of our guests take a day trip to this gorgeous beach and should you choose to stay with us; you should definitely pay it a visit.
